The Tale of Two Sisters: Where does the time go?

Once I started this blog I had GREAT intentions of updating it weekly or daily...what was I thinking? I have an ACTIVE 3 1/2 year old and an 8 month old therefore, my days seem to flow into the next and rarely do I know the date. The nights that I had planned to fill with blogging are filled with getting Makenna to stay in her bed at night and cleaning the house that has been destroyed beyond belief! So here is what we have been up to since the last post....tried to make it short and sweet!

We recently celebrated Grandma Patti and PawPaw's birthdays. I asked Makenna what kind of cake to make and she insisted on it being in the shape of a guitar (since PawPaw loves playing his guitar) so I brainstormed and we think it turned out pretty well.

~BBQ FUN~
We had a fun BBQ in our neighborhood. Makenna was in heaven...bounce house, face painting and ponies - the time of her life!

~Jed's Super Hero Birthday Bash~

I realized the day before the party that it was a costume party. I didn't feel like heading to the store so I went to my craft box and dug for some super hero-ish things! I was off to sew a cute mask and a cape for "SUPER HERO MAKENNA" We had a blast at the Chocolate Factory with the Super Hansen Family and the little super hero's!

~Beach Weekend Getaway~

We had a wedding to go to so we decided to make a long weekend trip out of it...mommy needed to little vacay more so than daddy or the girls! It was a fun time from the hotel pool, collecting seashells, dancing at the wedding and riding go karts at the Andretti Sports park! What a weekend full of excitement!
