Gingerbread Night

Makenna had gingerbread night at her school. We sang songs, built a gingerbread house and had some sweets! It was a great night spent with her classmates and their families.

Carsyn came along for the fun

Makenna made a gingerbread girl last week and it was displayed for the party. (She made the one with the red hair towards the top)

Makenna and our bag of goodies to make our house.

It was hard keeping her (and daddy) out of the "building materials"

Sugar is kicking in...

Gingerbread Girl arrived to say hello!

Our finished project

Looks yummy!

Posted this picture because you can see her two teeth....too cute!

Christmas Celebration

My dad's work puts on an excellent Christmas party for the kids / grandkids of the employees. This year was a little wet but we survived and had a wonderful time. Makenna rode the ponies (her favorite part), the girls got to pick a toy in Toyland, made crafts, took a hayride and visited Santa. It was a great time with Grampy, Nonna and Chance. She was so excited!
Makenna and her doll house she picked.
Riding the pony all by herself...that was her request this year.
Such a big girl!

Makenna and Santa

Out to lunch, it was a rainy day!

Metting Santa

Jeff was taking a certification course at The Florida Hotel (located in the Florida Mall) so we met him for lunch, did some shopping and met Santa. Makenna sat on his lap this year by herself which is a huge improvement from past years. Carsyn was taking a nap so I wasn't going to get her in the picture but decided to pick her up and put her in Santa's lap and hope she didn't freak out. Well, they snapped the picture right as she opened her eyes and this is what we got...better then a crying baby. She wasn't phased by it at all.

The ELF is here!

This is such a cute tradition. Grandma Cheryl approached me about this last year but I thought Makenna was too young but this year the Elf has made it to our home. Makenna says it's a girl elf and her name is Khloe. Khloe visits her to make sure she is being a good girl and reports back to Santa and sometimes she brings little gifts. Brrrrr!

We went to ICE @ Gaylord Palms hotel. It was a chilly experience but Makenna loved it and is still talking about it. Carsyn survived the cold too...I was alittle worried b/c she wouldn't keep her hat on but once inside the cold she didn't move. It was a fun family night out
